Lithuanian Labour Code changes from 1 November 2026

VDI explains that dismissal, final settlement, remote work and individual agreement rules change from November. Dismissal under Article 59 will require a justified reason; three working days’ notice and severance of at least six average monthly wages remain.

Employers should review contract templates and internal procedures against the applicable amendments.
